Actually The 2020 Lincoln Aviator Makes Almost 500 HP For Some Reason

Actually The 2020 Lincoln Aviator Makes Almost 500 HP For Some Reason

When the new 2020 Lincoln Aviator hybrid was introduced last year, it was promised to have an estimated 450 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. It turns out Lincoln was apparently way underselling it then, because the official numbers are now up to a ridiculous 494 HP and 630 lb-ft of torque, exactly what you want in your luxury crossover.

CarBuzz and AutoGuide are both reporting that a spec...

You Can Look Good In A 2020 Lincoln Aviator For $51,100

You Can Look Good In A 2020 Lincoln Aviator For $51,100

A weird thing has happened at Lincoln over the past couple months or so. For years, car people derided the brand for its incomprehensible model names, general lack of relevance, unappealing designs and propensity to stick nice leather into some Fords and call it a day. “Be more like Cadillac!”, we screamed. But Cadillac’s looking rough these days , and some of the new Lincolns are seriously...

The 2020 Lincoln Aviator Has Sleek Lines and 450 HP

The 2020 Lincoln Aviator Has Sleek Lines and 450 HP

I’m so glad that Lincoln is moving away from its awful, alpha-numeric naming system. It makes the cars easier to identify and gives it an opportunity to pick some cool names. The 2020 Lincoln Aviator is armed with epic nomenclature, smooth, clean lines and an impressive 450 horsepower. These are all good things.

This is the real one now and visually, not much has changed between it and the...

The 2019 Lincoln Aviator Has the Best Gimmick

The 2019 Lincoln Aviator Has the Best Gimmick

There’s no way for me to be cynical about this: The new 2019 Lincoln Aviator will not just be a rather handsome iteration of the innumerable crossovers on today’s market, but it will also be debuting a plainly wonderful little gimmick when it debuts at the LA Auto Show. Various chimes for the car will be from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

The Lincoln Aviator Looks Surprisingly Good For A Three-Row Crossover

The Lincoln Aviator Looks Surprisingly Good For A Three-Row Crossover

There’s a new Lincoln Aviator coming and it’s a more interesting vehicle than you’d think. The outside says Range Rover, the inside says Mercedes and under the skin is a new rear-wheel drive unibody we haven’t seen yet.

This is a weird moment in time as every major car company that wasn’t selling a crossover is finally getting on the wave, and every car company that was is now doubling down...

The Lincoln Aviator Is Coming Back

The Lincoln Aviator Is Coming Back

The old Lincoln Aviator, produced from model years 2003 to 2005, was a miserable failure. Lincoln’s bringing the nameplate back for 2019, though. Might this one fare better? Maybe! Today, Lincoln confirmed it would preview the new Aviator at the New York International Auto Show later this month. Aviator? Aviator!

It can only go up from here for Lincoln and mid-size SUVs, I suppose. Like the...
