Bank Repossesses 50 Alfa Romeos From Struggling Dealership

Bank Repossesses 50 Alfa Romeos From Struggling Dealership

Man, the pile of troubles a struggling Alfa Romeo dealership in Dallas has found itself under seems endless. Customer complaints, unpaid rent and now, 50 repossessed vehicles, are reportedly just the tip of the iceberg of problems facing Kamkad Automotive.

Kamkad Automotive owns three dealerships in Texas—Alfa Romeo Fiat of McKinney, Alfa Romeo of Dallas and Kamkad Hyundai of Huntsville....

This May Be the New Alfa Romeo GTV Way Before You're Supposed to See It [Update: Nope]

The Alfa Romeo GTV is coming back, and now we may have a leaked look at the roofline of what’s promised to be an all-wheel drive, 600 horsepower coupe which is expected to be a hybrid.

The Alfa Romeo GTV Is Back With More Than 600 Horsepower

Alfa Romeo’s GTV is a storied nameplate if there ever was one. The GTV, which stands for “Gran…

Sauber F1 Team Has Been Renamed Alfa Romeo Racing

Sauber F1 Team Has Been Renamed Alfa Romeo Racing

The Switzerland-based Sauber F1 team placed 8th in the Formula One teams points standings in 2018 with a total of 48 points. While that is nearly ten times as many as their single digit points haul in 2017, and it allowed them to move ahead of Scuderia Toro Rosso and Williams, that isn’t enough for the team that once had the distinction of being the third best team on the grid. Alfa Romeo...

How The Alfa Romeo 8C Was the Start of the Alfa Romeo Rebirth

How The Alfa Romeo 8C Was the Start of the Alfa Romeo Rebirth

We are spoiled by today’s Alfa Romeo. We enjoy the messy but incredible Quadrifoglio, and people seem to even like that crossover thing called the Stelvio it’s selling, too. And while the 4C officially brought the beautiful brand back to the U.S. in 2013, it was the gorgeous 8C Competizione back in 2007 that really launched the modern Alfa Romeo renaissance.

We often forget that Alfa of the...

Watch An Alfa Romeo Snow Drift Its Way Into Your Heart

Watch An Alfa Romeo Snow Drift Its Way Into Your Heart

Who ever said you need sunny skies and curvy mountain roads to enjoy an Alfa Romeo?

Doesn't it just warm your heart to see an Alfa getting hella sideways in the snow? Of course it does, why else would you be reading Jalopnik?

Is The Alfa Romeo 4C The Alfa We've Needed For Years?

Is The Alfa Romeo 4C The Alfa We've Needed For Years?

Unlike in America or the United Kingdom, in this part of Europe, we always had the option of buying an Alfa Romeo instead of a BMW or something like that. The 4C is the first global Alfa in a zillion years, but is it good enough to leave a mark?

Although we had all sorts of Alfas to choose from thanks to Fiat not giving up on its most famous brand despite declining sales and rising...

If You Always Hoped There Was a Car That Looked Like a Bad Photoshop Mash-Up of an Alfa and a Mustang, I Have Good News

If You Always Hoped There Was a Car That Looked Like a Bad Photoshop Mash-Up of an Alfa and a Mustang, I Have Good News

If you have tastes that appreciate more mainstream collector cars like classic Mustangs or vintage Alfa Romeos, but really want something much more uncommon, and, ideally, deeply confusing, then I really think there’s a car you should be aware of: The FNM Onça, a car with license-built Alfa Romeo mechanicals and a fiberglass body that is pretty much a direct copy of a first-gen Ford Mustang....

Alfa Romeo's Next Trick Is A BMW M3-Fighting Sedan

Alfa Romeo's Next Trick Is A BMW M3-Fighting Sedan

Alfa Romeo promised they would return to the U.S. in a big way, and while the 4C is a superb sports car, it's not ever gonna be a volume seller. That honor will hopefully go to their next car, a BMW M3-fighting sedan that will be unveiled in June and go on sale this summer.

Car And Driver's Long-Term Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Is Still a Maintenance Nightmare

Car And Driver's Long-Term Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Is Still a Maintenance Nightmare

In September of last year, Car And Driver published a 10,000-mile check-in report on all of the maintenance headaches with its long-term 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, including never-ending warning lights and the car spending an entire month in the shop to replace its differential. Over 20,000 miles later, things haven’t improved.

After we last left off with Car And Driver’s Giulia, it...

Try Not To Lose All Sense Of Reality Riding Onboard This Alfa Touring Car

Try Not To Lose All Sense Of Reality Riding Onboard This Alfa Touring Car

Back in 1992 Alfa Romeo built this 155 GTA Superturismo to compete in the Italian touring car series, where it demolished the competition by taking 17 victories from 20 races that season. Using effectively the same drivetrain as Lancia’s Delta Group A rally cars, the power was well tested, and the longer wheelbase sedan made a very stable platform.

With the same 2-liter screaming turbocharged...

Ultra-Exclusive Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio NRING Editions Already Mostly Sold Out in America (Updated)

While today served as the official release of the ultra-exclusive Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio NRING editions, it wasn’t the first time North America had laid eyes on them. That happened last night at a party as exclusive as the cars themselves, of which only 110 total units will be produced. Bad news to all you car collectors in the general public—almost the entire stock of both Alfas are...

Here's the Story Behind Those Mysterious Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio Prototypes

Alfa Romeo told on itself yesterday when a video tour of the new Fiat-Chrysler heritage facility revealed not one, but two Alfa Romeo 4C Quadrifoglio prototypes, just hanging out with a bunch of other cars. Here’s what they are exactly, and how they got there.

Possible Alfa Romeo 4C Quadrifoglio Prototype Spotted in Heritage Garage

Last week, we learned that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles was opening up a new facility full of its heritage cars , where it mostly mentioned its Fiat, Lancia and Abarth models. Not in the press materials, however, were what appear to be two Alfa Romeo 4C Quadrifoglio cars that we may not have seen before.

The Alfa Romeo Tonale Concept Actually Looks Pretty Good

The Alfa Romeo Tonale Concept Actually Looks Pretty Good

Okay, so it ended up not being just a re-badged Jeep Renegade as some Geneva Motor Show pictures seemed to imply. That’s a good thing. Equally good is that the Alfa Romeo Tonale Concept , which previews the storied Italian brand’s first compact crossover, ended up looking pretty solid.

Even more interestingly, this concept is said to be a plug-in hybrid, although Alfa Romeo is totally mum...

The Alfa Romeo Tonale Won't Be Just a Re-Badged Renegade After All

The Alfa Romeo Tonale Won't Be Just a Re-Badged Renegade After All

Damn, it looks like I may owe Alfa Romeo an apology. See, I, like almost everyone else, seems to have assumed that their new crossover, the Tonale, would just be a sort of half-ass re-badging of a Renegade. I even made a silly graphic to that effect on that other story there. Well, thanks once again to our bold Greek friends at Autoblog Greece, I now know that I’m very wrong. I know this...

‘Alfa Romeo Tonale Leaks’ Is Your Most Disturbing Sounding Car Phrase of the Day

‘Alfa Romeo Tonale Leaks’ Is Your Most Disturbing Sounding Car Phrase of the Day

The Greek division of Autoblog hires some ballsy writers, since they managed to get into the Geneva Auto Show a bit earlier than everyone else, where they saw the Alfa Romeo booth being put together. In that booth they saw a big sign that revealed Alfa’s new, very likely Renegade-based small crossover’s name. It’s Tonale.

The booth just had an actual Jeep Renegade on the stand, which was...

Formula 1 is many things. It is politics. it is drama. It is impossibly thin European men who seem very passionate about things . But it is also car that downshift with speed normally reserved for flipbooks.

This is Kimi Räikkönen in his not-Sauber Alfa Romeo during pre-season testing. This is a new set of...

Alfa Romeo Officially Announces It'll Be Bringing 'Something' to the Geneva Motor Show

We received a message the other day from our pals over at Alfa Romeo, letting us know that, yes, the company will be at the Geneva Motor Show, and just in case we thought it was just going to sit in a booth on folding chairs, it let us know that not only would it be bringing their “award-winning lineup,” but it also had “something new.” Exciting, right? I mean, vague and useless as far as...

Maserati Is Having an Identity Crisis

Maserati Is Having an Identity Crisis

Maserati has not been hot for awhile, despite a brief glimmer of hope when the Maserati Levante crossover was introduced a couple of years ago. It’s a problem FCA’s new CEO Mike Manley claims was caused by an identity crisis, and now he wants to give the brand the focus it deserves.

Maserati is in a bit of trouble as its earnings have dropped 87 percent, vehicle shipments have dropped 19...
