Spotted at Heidelberg Castle Recently

Go Hawkeyes Jun 29, 2019. 4 comments

Spotted this beauty near Heidelberg Castle while I was in the region recently for work. Toured the castle over the weekend and while walking back down to the main part of town I came across this.  Poor thing was out in the rain.

The train from the airport to Mainz, where I was staying, went past the Opel factory.  I saw many Insignias lined up outside as well as a row of them branded as Buick Regals.  As a 2018 Regal GS owner this excited me.  Sadly I was not able to find an opportunity for a factory tour on this trip.  It’s on my to do list for my October work trip.

Would You Autocross It? Would You Autocross It?

I’ve been thinking about attending a Starting Line event near me and then going to a few Autocross events with my new Buick Regal GS. I’m sure it will be incredibly fun. But is it a bad idea to take such a new and nice car?

I was driving around my old hometown and noticed that this old Citroën BX 19 TGD Break Van had moved from its usual spot. While taking pictures the very kind owner came over, who told me he has owned it for 22 years (which explains why it has been around the same spot for almost all of my live)...

Look, I’m a real blogger! With a clickbaity title and everything! Ok, fine, it’s a door pocket. Now you know. So, I was clicking through every single listing on Bring-a-Trailer in a trance-like state for hours on end, as you do, and found this Citroen AX GT 5. At first glance, besides some mildly funky angular styling and asymmetrical badge...

What a wonderfully eccentric combination of ‘80s Gallic flair, luxobarge comfort, and remarkably hot-hatch-like driving dynamics. How My Citroën Got From France To L.A. Via Connecticut How My Citroën Got From France To L.A. Via Connecticut

Hey look, my Citroën has finally made it to Hollywood! A year after I bought it in France. And, eleven months after it was delivered to my parents’ place in Connecticut, it finally made it across another continent to sunny Southern California. Some of this story was posted here as part of a post I did for Live and...
